Here’s my favorite part of making this comic, hands down – stuff like the eyeball in the first panel. That definitely wasn’t in the script. It’s just one of those gross and awesome little touches Kristen puts in when she gets a hold of it. I love getting the art back and laughing because something surprises me.
That reminds me – I have to tell you about one that didn’t make it into a recent update. It was the page where Ed chokes out Dwyer, the chubbier soldier. In the original thumbnail sketch, when Dwyer fell to the ground, he fell face first into a puddle of the girl’s pee. Kristen could not have been more excited about it. Ultimately, we didn’t include that in the final version. Not because it was in poor taste (it’s a little late to steer away from that), but because it wouldn’t match the previous page. Although if you’re paying attention, you’ve probably noticed several continuity issues. Y’know… the kind we spot the second the page is published.
Anyways, thank you everyone for your continued interest and support. It’s nice getting angry emails when we don’t get a page up on time (no, seriously – it is!). Speaking of… 125 pages! Holy crap!
